If you were able to transport children of today back to that school in the 50s, I don't know what they would do. I have been away from Portsmouth since 1964, had an occasional visit, but have tried to visit old places via Google earth. I don't recognise the place. Now I've retired, I must venture down there and have one last look. Anybody out there go to St Lukes C of E Sec. Mod. school for boys during those years?

Possibly 1956, the building just to the left of the Guildhall was the library, in front of that is a "newish" building going up. That was the Central Telephone Exchange which was opened in 1956. I work there and the date is on the wall.
